Discovering the Miracles in Your Life

The other day, I was asking my Team (angels, guides, etc.) to give me a big tangible miracle....something that was extremely obvious so I wouldn't miss it.

The answer that came back to me was, "And we would ask you to be the one to discover the miracle for yourself instead."

Huh?  It was further explained that we are given miracles every day, but we fail to see them.

Well, that was my point to begin with.  Give me a BIG one so I won't fail to see it.  Duh!  Ha ha!

Then they said, "By looking deeper and making these discoveries on your own, you will open your intuitive sight even more...seeing what was not previously seen...gaining a true appreciation for the miracles that are around you every day."

So today I was outside in the backyard for a while before I came in to get a drink of water.  Both my daughters asked me if I had seen the huge butterfly out there with me.  No, I hadn't.  I was bummed because those are usually my signs from Heaven and I couldn't figure out how I missed that.  Even though I had pulled the "Hello from Heaven" card this morning, somehow the sign must have been for my girls.

Later in the afternoon before I went to the gym, I was walking into the living room when I noticed a huge butterfly outside the window flying towards my front door.  Excited, I immediately went to the door and opened it to see it...except it wasn't there.  Where did it go?  I looked up and at that moment realized there was a hummingbird sitting on one of the vines above my head.  We have flowering vines that have grown up along the walls of the house and across the top ceiling to our front door entrance.  He didn't fly away, nor did he seem scared of me.  Very slowly, I moved outside, thinking he would definitely fly away then.  He did not.  He chirped at me and zinged his little wings in his super fast way, but he stayed put looking at me.  As we stared at one another, I discovered in that moment, my miracle and joy.

So what if it wasn't the lotto, a new house or car, or anything else materialistic.  This was a miracle in its purest, simplest form waiting for me to discover what a wonderful gift it was.  It wasn't until I walked back into the house that he flew away.  Had I been handed something, I would have been appreciative, but I wouldn't have seen it in the same light as I did when looking deeper at what was in front of me.  You have to love these moments!

Here we see an amethyst crystal cave bathed in the water from a river, the points of light representing the spiritual force that these crystal beings generate.  Amethyst, as well as other types of quartz crystals, have been used for thousands of years in magic and healing, as well as for intensifying psychic capabilities.  Since its violet color is the same as the crown chakra, it has often been referred to as a spiritual stone.

 

The nature of quartz crystals, the second most common element in the Earth's crust, is that they help focus the power of our life force, or Spirit.  Where attention goes, power flows---and crystals magnify this power tenfold.  Our intention influences where our attention goes.  When we're consciously aware of our intention, it facilitates the focus of that spiritual power and supports the manifestation in material reality of that intention.

 

It is time to bring your complete focus to the subject of your inquiry.  Eliminate all distractions, and give this your undivided attention.  Whether this is a project, relationship, or simply a relaxing time spent walking in Nature, be fully present to the situation.  This sharpening of focus will expand your awareness and allow your inner guidance to penetrate your consciousness, which can then be parlayed into appropriate action.

 

By being focused with crystal clarity, you are in the flow of your life force and, in fact, have become one with it.  It is not a hypervigilant or tension-filled state, but one of relaxed attention.  Keep your eyes, ears, and heart focused on that which you need to pay attention to, and miracles can be created.  To paraphrase a fictional elder, "Use the Force," and use it in life-enhancing ways.

As a six-sensory person, you have a tendency to become overly empathetic at times.  You not only sense others' vibrations, but you also absorb and internalize them as your own.  This is not only psychically unhealthy, but it can make you physically sick if you do it often enough.  The cure is to mentally and emotionally stay in your own skin, and don't operate like a psychic sponge absorbing the energy around you.  It's okay to support others, but don't try to rescue them.  It interrupts their growth and harms you as well. Stay in your skin by slowly breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth, while focusing on your body.  The more you breathe, the more you keep to your own spirit and allow others the dignity of managing their own affairs.

Another key to disengaging is to see and name the physical objects around you.  This two-minute, psychic-energy adjustment resets your balance.  It's nice to care---but don't carry.

Most of the time, walking is a way that people get from point A to point B, often in a rush and without regard for what's going on around them.  Meditation is typically viewed as something people do while sitting cross-legged for several minutes; however, that's only one form of meditation.  Walking with awareness and intention is another.

 

Find a place, preferably in Nature, such as the forest or woods, where you can simply walk for ten minutes or more each day for the next week.  Experiment by walking more slowly than you usually do.  Try moving at 80 percent of your usual speed.  You can also try speeding up your pace, but stay present and be aware of how it feels to move so rapidly.  Then slow way down for a few steps to where you can really feel each step you take.  Notice how the contact with the ground starts at your heel and slowly moves up to your toes.  If possible, try it barefoot.  Be aware of the sights, sounds, and smells as you walk, as well as the rhythmic feeling in your body.  Whatever pace you set, be sure to breathe consciously and consistently with full awareness.  Doing so while walking is what makes it a meditation.

The spring equinox, also called the vernal equinox, occurs on March 20 or 21 in the Northern Hemisphere and September 20 or 21 in the Southern Hemisphere.  This is the point when the sun crosses the plane of the equator, and day and night are the same length across the planet.  Earth Mother is pregnant and is birthing once again.  Crops can once again be planted. 

 

This card features a rendition of Ostara, sometimes spelled Oestre or Eastre, a Germanic goddess of spring.  Ostara is also a northern European name for Astarte, which means "womb"; and is another name for Venus, the goddess of love, passion, and creativity.  The Christian holiday of Easter stems from this goddess, and in this card we see some archetypal symbols of the spring equinox that represent the rebirth of the world, such as rabbits, eggs, and flowers.  It is indeed a time for renewal.

 

You thought this passage you have been through would never end.  Just as certain that the light of the world fades every few months, it makes its return, and the Earth rejoices.  The fresh breath of spring sweeps away the cobwebs acquired from the absence of the light.  The light is now obviously increasing as Nature beings to emerge in all her many forms, shapes, and colors that remind us of the continual cycles of Earth Mother.

 

This cycle of rebirth you are experiencing follows a considerably challenging time.  Any tears you may have shed have cleared the way for what has been gestating, which is now ripe and ready to emerge.  That which no longer serves you needs to be put to rest so that a freshness and newness of spirit can make itself known to you.

This is an abundant universe, filled with more than enough for everyone.  Yet, the energy format of this planet is about polarities.  In this instance, it's about giving and receiving.  The key is to balance the two.  If you only give, you'll feel drained, resentful, and experience lack.  If you only receive, you won't enjoy what you have.  Balance comes from fearlessly giving as you're guided, and then receiving with joy and gratitude.  It's exactly like breathing: Both the inhale and the exhale are identically important.  Practice giving and receiving daily, and you'll never want for anything.
