Life's many paths are simply different scenarios and journeys that will ultimately lead to the same destination at the end of your time here on Earth. So why do they seem so scary and why do we humans tend to hesitate when it comes to choosing new roads in our lives?
Maybe it will become easier when you realize that you are constantly stepping onto new paths throughout the day anyway, every single day! When you make a decision between having your morning coffee or a glass of orange juice (or both if you like to be rebellious!), you are stepping on a new path that will bring you a chain of events from that point. Perhaps later you will decide not to take a lunch break and instead catch up on your work. You have again veered onto another path. When you switch the radio stations in your car, once again....you got it!...another path! You are continuously coming to a crossroads all the time, just on a smaller scale. The possibilities are unlimited!
We don't think of these things as jumping on new life roads, however, because they feel safe. If you think about it, however, had you chosen the other option or options, you would have had a different outcome during the day no matter how slight. You don't need to fear the bigger paths ahead of us or the lessons they will bring you on the journey. Should it not be a choice you liked after all, you can always return to your comfort zone path or be brave and try yet another new one. Remind yourself that you do this every day anyway and you're a pro now after all these years! And remember that no matter what each journey may bring to you, it was all meant to be as you reach your end result. Sure, it would be awesome to discover which paths are easy streets where there is no struggle and strife, but perhaps you will come to appreciate the growth you have experienced and find yourself in a state of being where you can find beauty and blessings in all of the journeys provided to you.
These have been your creations. Your choices. These are yours to own. And yours to change. So move forward fearlessly and enjoy the process no matter what the surface circumstances appear to be. Life was meant to be lived, moving forward fluidly with the flow.
